Police Searching for Missing Teen with Possible Midlands Connection

Leland, N.C. (WWAY, WOLO)–

A 16-year-old girl from Leland is missing.

Police say Alida Simone Van Rooyen was last seen Monday night at 10:30 at her home in Leland. She is 5’07” tall and weighs 126 pounds.

She has blond hair and blue eyes. She goes by the name Simone.

The teen’s family says she has a connection to Irmo and may be in the area.
