Gadsden Park Community Center reopens after temporary closure

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Gadsden Park Community Center has reopened after recently being temporarily closed, said Richland County officials.
The community center reopened on Friday, July 5, after closing on Wednesday, July 3, due to a safety issue.
County officials say the closure happened out of consideration for the safety of visitors and staff.
The safety issue was a lack of air conditioning as the result of an electrical outage.
One of the two facility A/C units has since been repaired and the community center has returned to normal operating hours.
