Richland County Coroner releases name of victim killed during 4th of July shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford is releasing the name of the teen that was killed in a shooting at Woodland Terrace Apartments on Thursday, July 4.

According to Coroner Rutherford, the victim is identified as Dives Evans, 17, of Columbia. Columbia PD say a 16-year-old is being charged in connection with the isolated fatal shooting.

“We will continue working with the Columbia Police Department to fully investigate this shooting”, Coroner Rutherford states.
