Local Living on ABC Columbia brought to you by MUSC Health

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, there will be a Friday Night Laser Light show next week.

The event will feature music from Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga.

It takes place on July 19, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the state museum.

Tickets are $10 for members and $12 for the general public.

Steel Hands Brewing and the Columbia Animal Services are hosting a Pups and Pints adoption event this Saturday.

It’s from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Steel Hands on Foreman Street in Cayce.

There will be food, beer, and of course plenty of pets looking for a home.

Adoption fees will be waived but make sure to bring a leash and collar.

Registration is now open for the first ever “803 Day”.

The day will be filled with all kinds of activities including a 5K run/walk, a festival, and a city-wide scavenger hunt.

Event organizers say the day symbolizes unity, pride, and a vibrant spirit of the Columbia area.

The fun kicks off on Saturday, August 3.
