St. Joseph Catholic Church Participates in SC Day of Prayer

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)- Saint Joseph Catholic Church is one of many churches that participated in the statewide Day of Prayer.

Students from Saint Joseph Catholic School participated in the ceremony along with parishioners. Fifth and sixth graders that we spoke to during the vigil say that it is important to have events like this in our community.

“A lot has gone on the last couple of years. with the floods and crime and all. I just feel like all different communities and groups have been hurt in multiple ways. I’m glad that this Thanksgiving, our state is getting to come together a little bit and we get to solve some of our problems,” said sixth grader Inara Spector.
