Thanksgiving Travel Safety

Columbia, S.C (WOLO) — Many of you have packed your bags, filled the tank and are ready to hit the road for those Thanksgiving destinations. The one thing that is sometimes forgotten is the safety precautions that should also be taken along for those road trips.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Corporal David Jones tells ABC Columbia there were 9 fatalities on South Carolina roads during the 2015 holiday. This year, law enforcement officials are hoping they can cut that number to zero.
