Crowds gather at State House to remember Congressman John Lewis

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — Wednesday marked the 4th anniversary since the passing of Congressman John Lewis. To honor to his memory lawmakers gathered around at the state house to remind voters of their power ahead of the 2024 election. As the election approaches, Carolina for all is concerned that state lawmakers across the country are introducing and passing bills that restrict the freedom to vote.

Events will be held across the country to commemorate lewis’ life and the work he did to secure
voting rights for all people.
