‘Lunch at the Market’ to make debut in Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Fairfield Farmers and Artisans Market and Fairfield County Council on Aging is launching its first “Lunch at the Market” event.

The event will be held on Wednesday, July 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fairfield Farmers and Artisans Market, located at 117 East Washington Street, Winnsboro.

Officials say the market is an opportunity for older adults and the rest of the community to shop for farm fresh food, engage in conversation, meet neighbors for lunch, and enjoy the atmosphere with family and friends.

Attendees can purchase locally grown fresh vegetables, locally raised meats, and handmade crafts.
