Sales down at McDonald’s

 

(CNN)–  Americans continue to turn their backs on an iconic American fast food brand.

McDonald’s reports sales at U.S. stores fell .7% last quarter compared to the same period a year earlier.

Globally, sales dropped 1%. It’s the first time sales fell by that much since the pandemic.

McDonald’s is enacting a plan to bring back price-conscious customers dubbed “accelerating the arches”.

It focuses on value meals like the $5 meal deal introduced earlier this Summer.
