COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Hundreds of Special Olympic athletes and their friends and families held a rally Tuesday at the State House. The focus of the rally is to “Spread the word the end the R-Word.” Organizers want to do away with labels and bring inclusion to schools across the state. Students from 26 high schools and two universities attended Tuesday’s rally.
