Collapsed Allepo Ceasefire
Rebels Blame Tehran
ALEPPO, SYRIA– The Aleppo cease-fire has collapsed bringing the threat of a potentially bloody battle to an end. Although the cease-fire unraveled early yesterday, rebel groups now say the deal is back on and will take effect early today. The rebels blame Tehran, the capital of Iran, for the failed start of a cease-fire deal which was aimed to stop the blood-bath in Syria’s Aleppo. Rebels say Tehran imposed new conditions in exchange for a safe passage out of eastern Aleppo.
