Deputy Attacked at Courthouse

Orangeburg, S.C. (WOLO)–“I meant to bust his head wide open.”
That is what a corrections officer says Wesley Givens said after he attacked a deputy at the Orangeburg County Courthouse Wednesday.
Investigators say the attack took place when Givens refused to enter a holding cell.
Sgt. Thomas Stroman ended up with a concussion and several deep cuts to his face.
Givens is charged with assault and battery.
