Dylann Roof: Judge will Not Hold Mental Health Hearing

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– A hearing scheduled for Tuesday in the Dylann Roof Sentencing phase will not take place.

Originally Judge Richard Gergel scheduled the hearing after Roof failed to meet a deadline stating whether he would call a mental health expert during the sentencing phase.

But Roof did let the judge know that he did not plan on calling any mental health experts during the sentencing phase, which is set for January 3, 2017.
