Citizen’s Tip Leads to Arrest of Irmo Woman

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities credit a tip from a concerned citizen which led to the arrest of 35-year-old woman accused of stealing two packages off a porch.

Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department arrested Shirley Daniel Wednesday evening at her home in Irmo after a citizen spotted her getting into a stolen 1999 Honda Accord.
Deputies say the car was stolen during a burglary on Monarch Lane on December 7.
Daniel is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and petit larceny.
She is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
