Victim of Early Morning Fatal Crash Identified

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland County has released the name of the victim who died after being involved in a two-vehicle collision early Thursday morning.
Gary Watts said Tiwanna Willis, 28, was driving her vehicle when she was struck by another vehicle around 7:50 a.m. on S. Beltline Boulevard near Shop Road.
She was taken by EMS to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital where she died a few hours later.
Watts said Willis’ cause of death is pending an autopsy scheduled for Friday morning.
The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
