Two-year-old found drowned in Lexington County pool

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Tragedy strikes a Lexington County family as a young member of their family was found dead in a backyard pool. The Coroner’s Office reported that it is investigation the drowning death of two-year-old Kyron Keith. The Gilbert child was found Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses say Keith was playing in the backyard of his home with his younger sister when the incident occurred. After being found in the pool, the child was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is also investigating this case.
