COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Start the New Year off right by clearing up old warrants during “Operation Clean Slate.”

On Friday, January 20, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and Columbia P.D. are joining forces to take care of any outstanding warrants you might have.

Stop by M.L. Smith Community Development Center, at 5213 Farrow Rd. to clear up old charges and minimize your chances of going to jail. There will be judges on site. The effort is part of Sheriff Leon Lott’s overall push for community policing.
