Friday marked the official start of the 2017 NCAA baseball season, as teams from across the country returned to the diamond to begin the spring. Few programs in the sport can compete with the expectations and excitement around Carolina, who’s been ranked this preseason as a top five team by publications such as Baseball America, USA Today, D1Baseball, Perfect Game, and more.
