Former President George H.W Bush Discharged

Houston, TX. (WOLO) — Former President George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara Bush have now been released from the Houston Methodist Hospital.

A family spokesperson says the 92 year old former President of the United States was allowed to return home after a serious bout with a respiratory illness, related to pneumonia. Barbara Bush was admitted at the same time for concerns over bronchitis.

Although she was treated with a series of antibiotics and released before her husband, Barbara stayed by her husband’s bedside at the hospital until he was released more than a week later.
