Pot Smokers Protest

Bogota, Colombia (WOLO) — A group of protestors gathered in the public square of Bogota, Colombia in an attempt to light a fire in the fight over marijuana. The demonstrators say they were intent to puff their way past a new law that will punish anyone who consumes the drug in public.

The law says anyone who violates it will face a sixty-six dollar fine.

That didn’t seem to stop protestors who lit up anyway and say they’re demanding the right to smoke marijuana in a responsible manner.
