SC State Enrollment

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Enrollment is on the way up at SC State University, according to the University President.

President James Clark told state lawmakers the number of students increased in the Spring semester to more than 26 hundred students.

During Clark’s 27 million dollar budget request presentation, he told a house committee that more people believe in the University now.

In 2015, lawmakers fired the school’s trustees when the school reported tens of millions in debt.
