Man arrested after barricading himself inside a home with gun, say deputies

SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– In Saluda County, a man who deputies say barricaded himself inside a home with a gun has been arrested.

Saluda County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to calls of a domestic assault involving a female victim.

When they arrived at a home off Star Court they found Shannon Rodgers, barricaded inside a bedroom with a rifle.

The special response team was able to enter the home and take Rodgers into custody.

He is being charged with domestic violence offenses and an outstanding warrant.
