International African American Museum named one of ‘World’s Greatest Places’

IAAM announced its featuring in TIME Magazine’s “World’s Greatest Places 2024.” (WCIV)

(WCIV) — The International African American Museum (IAAM) took to Facebook today to celebrate being named one of “The World’s Greatest Places 2024” by TIME Magazine.

“This is only the beginning for us. Come see why for yourself!” Said a post from IAAM.

The mention from TIME was published on July 25 and was featured alongside destinations for lodging and experiences around the world, from Antarctica to Indonesia to Kansas City.

TIME Magazine does a roundup of places each year and chooses the greatest places in the world via “its international network of correspondents and contributors, as well as through an application process, with an eye toward those offering new and exciting experiences.”

The announcement is no doubt a huge booster to the already widely acclaimed museum, which opened its doors just last year.
