Deputies: One arrested, one wanted in connection with body found in burning home

Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies say one person is in custody and they are searching for another in connection with a body found inside a burning home last month.
According to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department say they arrested Edward Smith and charged him with murder in the July 20 death of Caldwell Motley at a home on Oak Ridge Lane.

Officials say Motley was found stabbed to death inside a home that was then set on fire.

Investigators say they are searching for Donovan Holman in connection with the murder as well.
