T-Mobile to pay $60 million settlement for data breach

(CNN)– T-Mobile will pay a 60 million dollar settlement over alleged data breach coalitions.

That’s the largest ever fine by the committee on foreign investment in the United States.

According to multiple outlets, T-Mobile  failed to disclose and take action against leaks that occurred after its 26 billion dollar merger with Sprint in 2020.

A spokesperson for T-Mobile said the incident happened because of technical issues.
