Police: Woman shoots and kills cousin who was trying to stop argument

 

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia police say a woman has been charged in a Saturday shooting.

Investigators say on Saturday, August 17th Tamara Anderson, 39, was arguing with someone she knew on the 1200 block of King St. when she pulled out a gun.

According to police, Anderson’s cousin, Eugene Bell tried to intervene in the argument and was shot and killed.

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook says Anderson is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter.
