SC Man Accused of Plotting Attack Waives Bond Hearing

FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) (WOLO) -The man accused of plotting a Dylann Roof like attack appeared in Federal Court Tuesday.

29 year old Benjamin McDowell waived his right to a bond hearing. McDowell appeared before a judge Tuesday.

A lawyer for McDowell told the federal judge that the McDowell didn’t want a preliminary hearing where the judge would decide if the government did have enough evidence to charge him.
