Richland County deputies investigating after victim found with gunshot wound

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an incident after a victim found with gunshot wound on Tuesday night, says RCSD.

According to the department, deputies responded to a possible shooting in the 2000 block of Alpine Road on Tuesday, Aug. 20, around 8 p.m.

When deputies arrived to the scene, they found a victim who with a single gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident is still under investigation, states RCSD.
