You may have unclaimed money, here’s how to check in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– You may have unclaimed cash out there.

The South Carolina Treasurer’s Office has a search engine available that can tell you if you have money out there that you haven’t claimed.

Sources can include old refunds, forgotten accounts, or inheritances.

Officials with the treasurer’s office say right now, there is more than 850 million dollars in unclaimed money in South Carolina.
