Overnight detours scheduled at Colonial Life Boulevard and I-126 Interchange in Richland County
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Department of Transportation is conducting a temporary overnight closure of the I-126 ramps at Colonial Life Boulevard, said SCDOT.
South Carolina Department of Transportation said drivers will be detoured using the Greystone Boulevard/Riverbanks Zoo interchange at I-126.
The detour schedule for the Colonial Life Blvd. on-ramp to I-126 Eastbound is as follows:
- Wednesday, August 21 to Thursday, August 22 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The detour schedule for the I-126 Westbound off-ramp to Colonial Life Blvd. is as follows:
- Wednesday, August 21 to Thursday, August 22 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
These temporary closures will allow SCDOT to continue road and bridge rehabilitation at the Colonial Life Boulevard interchange as part of Phase 1 of the Carolina Crossroads Project.
Signs will be posted for motorists through the detour route.
Drivers may experience temporary slowdowns and stops in traffic and are advised to use caution, plan accordingly, and follow posted instructions.
