Woman Accussed of Embezzling $10K from Church Daycare

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A former employee at a church daycare stole nearly $10,000 from the facility over the course of five years and used it for personal use.

If convicted, Lisa Michelle Terry, of Lugoff, faces up to 10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines for allegedly writing unauthorized checks to herself over the amount of her approved salary while employed at Blaney Baptist Church.

Terry, 41, is charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent.
