Attorney General Alan Wilson visited the U.S. Mexico border

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–  Attorney General Alan Wilson visited the U.S. Mexico border this week.

A spokesperson for the AG’s Office says Wilson was briefed by the Texas Department of Public safety about the many issues there that affect South Carolina.

Among the issues discussed include drug trafficking, human trafficking, and the disappearance of migrant children.

Wilson says the problems are a direct result of the Biden Administration’s border policies.

President Joe Biden has argued a bill was in place that would have alleviated the issues but that was shot down by Republicans at the direction of Donald Trump.
