One person dead after fatal collision in Orangeburg County
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead after a fatal collision on a highway in Orangeburg County, said troopers.
SC Highway Patrol said a person’s car overturned on the side of the highway just outside Rowesville on Saturday.
Highway Patrol said a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on Highway 21 near Calhoun Street when the driver went off the right side of the road and the vehicle flipped over.
The driver died at the scene due to injuries received.
Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office identified the person as Willie Benjamin, 61, Branchville.
