Midlands man sentenced for drug trafficking

Lexington Co., SC (WOLO)– Officials with the US Attorney’s Office say Reginald Pearson, 40, of West Columbia has been sentenced to more than 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing meth.

According to officials, courtroom evidence shows that between November ’22 and January of ’23 Pearson distributed more than 900 grams of methamphetamine and 28 grams of cocaine to undercover ATF agents.

Authorities say Pearson’s criminal record includes previous convictions for petty larceny and multiple drug related offenses..
