Deputies investigating after body found in Lake Murray

Lexington Co. deputies say they are investigating after a body was found floating near the Lake Murray Dam.

Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a body was found floating near the Lake Murray dam.
According to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office, Darius Dendy,34, was involved in a car accident on Wednesday when he and his car went into the lake near the Irmo side of the dam.

Investigators say Dendy’s car was also pulled from the lake.
