SLED issues Blue Alert after police officer shot

Investigators with SLED say they are looking for Alston Modlin, 27.

UPDATE: OFFICIALS SAY THE SUSPECT HAS BEEN LOCATED

McBee, SC (WOLO)– Investigators with SLED say they are looking for Alston Modlin, 27.

Officials say Modlin shot a McBee police officer during a traffic stop Thursday night.

Officials say he may be armed and dangerous and if  you see him do not approach.

If you do see him or know where he is call 911.
