SCDOT to temporarily close Johnstone Street in Newberry County for repairs

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will temporarily close Johnstone Street between Collingswood Drive and Copeland Street in Newberry County for repairs beginning on Monday, says SCDOT.

The road will close on Monday, September 23, and is expected to reopen on Friday, September 27.

During the closure the road will be open to local traffic only.

SCDOT asks the public to slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
