Lexington Co. Coroner Identifies Woman Killed in House Fire
LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO)- The Lexington County Coroner has identified the victim that was found dead in a house fire that happened Saturday morning.
Coroner Margaret Fisher said Maria Addy-Starino, 64, of Lexington was pulled from the home by firefighters, but she was pronounced dead at the scene by Lexington County Emergency Medical Services.
Two other family members were able to escape the fire and were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The fire happened at 8:00a.m. in the 100 block of Dickert Drive in Lexington County.
An autopsy will be performed on Sunday to determine the cause of death for Addy-Starino.
The fire remains under investigation by multiple agencies at this time.
