USC closer Tyler Johnson will miss some playing time, according to Chad Holbrook.

Coach Holbrooks telling 107.5 The Game Monday that Johnson has been dealing with arm soreness in his throwing arm, which will cause him to miss some time this season.

Holbrook didn’t specify how much time the junior righty would miss.

Johnson has made 5 appearances this season and holds a 2.70 ERA.
