COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The 2017 season for the Columbia Fireflies starts Thursday. The Flies take on the Augusta GreenJackets through Sunday.
Besides the addition of former pro-football player Tim Tebow to the roster, Spirit Communications Park has a new “misting station” to cool fans down during our Famously Hot summer days. The team has also joined with River Rat Brewery to create a special beer called Luminescent Lager, that will be served on tap at the stadium’s bars.
Good Morning Columbia’s Grace Joyal talked to Brad Shank, Fireflies Executive Vice President, about the new season, and team mascot, Mason, showed off a few dance moves.
