USC Alum Pulls Off Surprise Proposal at Parade

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- It was a celebration of love at the University of South Carolina’s basketball parade on Sunday.

A USC alum, TyShawn Dow, surprised his girlfriend of 6 years with a proposal at the end of the parade celebration.

With a little help from Mayor Benjamin , Dow got the crowds attention and was able propose.

“I was very surprised,” Alexis Price-Davis said. “I’m still at a loss for words and that is not usual because I talk a lot. I’m really really excited.”

The high school sweethearts went to USC together.

When we asked what’s next for the couple they said, grocery shopping.
