Columbia Police Seeking Man After Mall Shooting

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- Columbia Police are investing a shooting at Dutch Square Mall Saturday night.

Officers reported the shooting at the shopping center after 7:30pm and said no one was injured, however there was damage to a shop window.

Police say based on surveillance video the shooting appeared to be accidental.

Authorities are looking for a suspect to learn more about the incident.

In a photo police tweeted out,  the male appears to have a firearm inside a bag. Authorities say the gun went off when he dropped the bag on the floor inside the shopping center.
