Gov McMaster Helps Foster Kids Drive

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — Governor Henry McMaster has put a bill into effect that will help foster kids get back in the driver’s seat.

The new law expands the list of authorized adults who can now sign the application for a minor in order for them to get their beginner’s permit or their driver’s license.

All you have to do is make sure you have your picture ID, your D-S-S  approval letter and make sure form 4-4-7 has been completed.

The new law goes into effect Monday April 24th.
