Recalls You Need to Know About

Columbia, SC. (WOLO) — Check your cabinets. Two separate companies have issued recalls of their products that may impact what you can snack on.

The first recall involves McCain Foods who says  some golf ball material may have been harvested with their potatoes. The company says eating the hash browns may lead to choking. There have been no reported injures, but the company is issuing the recall as a precaution.

If you have the 2 pound bag of frozen Southern Style Bags sold in Harris Teeter, Marianos, Metro Market and “Pick and Save Supermarkets you are urged not to consume the product.

Also Campbell is recalling more than 4 thousand pounds of it’s chicken soup. The company says the “Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Grain Pasta is mislabeled and actually contains spinach and meatballs.

The USDA considers it a class one recall because of the milk and other allergens. If you have eaten this item you are asked to contact your health care provider.
