River Bluff, Flora Win State Finals Series Openers

River Bluff baseball took their Class 5A State Finals series opener Saturday night, beating Northwestern 4-3 in 10 innings. Game two of the series will take place at the home of the Trojans Tuesday. With one more win, the Gators will clinch the SCHSL Championship.

In 4A play, the AC Flora Falcons won game one of their State series over South Pointe 9-7. They’ll also play their second in the final set Tuesday.
