Update: Grand larceny suspect arrested during traffic stop

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested a suspect in a grand larceny case.

Jordan Deshawn Waden, 17, was wanted for stealing ammunition and six guns, electronics and jewelry from a home in  Westgrove Court back in April.

He was taken into custody during a traffic stop around noon Tuesday.

Waden allegedly stole the items which included three rifles and three shotguns and totalling $7,000, deputies say.

Deputies say they were able to identify Waden from previous break-ins in the area.
