Marshal’s Track Down Sumter Murder Suspect

Sumter, S.C. (WOLO)– A Georgia man is accused of murder in a shooting death at a Sumter hotel.
Investigators say on May 17th Walter Murrey shot and killed Brandon Cummings outside of the Quality Inn and Suites on Broad St.
Sumter police say the US Marshal’s service tracked Murrey down at a construction site in Augusta, Georgia.
He is in custody awaiting extradition.
