2 Killed, 1 Injured in Fiery Crash

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — Two people are dead and a third is fighting for their life after authorities say a fiery crash  at the intersection of SC-48 and Bluff Road,  Near Congaree Church Road.

According to Richland County Deputies, the driver of the car lost control when trying to pass another vehicle, and ran off the road before striking a tree causing the car to burst into flames.

Officials say the driver and a passenger inside the car were killed. A third person riding in the car as well was transported to the Richland Memorial Hospital. That persons condition is unknown at this time.

The South Carolina Highway patrol is investigating the crash.
