Columbia police investigating suspicious death

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police say they are investigating  a suspicious death.

Investigators say officers responded to Bluff Rd. Tuesday morning after a body was found by workers near the side of the road.

The Richland Co. Coroner later identified the deceased as Xavier Jackson, 22.

The cause of death was not released.
