Prisma Health hosted 34th annual “Hearts and Hands Forever” walk

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Prisma Health hosted the 34th annual “Hearts and Hands Forever” walk at Riverfront Park over the weekend.

The quarter-mile memorial walk is for anyone whose life has been touched by the loss of a baby, through either miscarriage or stillbirth.

ABC Columbia spoke with Carol Tuten, Clinical practice specialist for Prisma Health who says they hope that the event will give families a place to share their stories.

During the walk many of the participants laid a rose in the river to symbolize their loss.
